Biography.

Design by LF was founded by me, Lee Forester, in 2017 to share my passion for beautiful objects.

From my design studio and workshop in Andalusia I focus on unique items of art, primarily paintings and sculptures, although I also occasionally create bespoke wooden furniture too.

​

The three dimensional art designs are created to bring pleasurable interplay between light and shadow whether it be from dramatic lines or flowing curves.

​

When crafting an intricate sculpture, or a hand-made item of designer furniture, I work with traditional techniques handed down to me by my father, a lifelong carpenter and master cabinet-maker. Each piece of sustainably grown timber is personally selected by me for the special qualities it will bring to piece being created.
